About Us
Welcome to Drummer Boy UK.

Over the past 9 years Drummer Boy has evolved from a clothing brand that uses its messaging on items as a form of expression to a multi-faceted business that looks to provide a platform for inner-city Londoners - with a specific focus on young people and the BAME community - to express themselves using creative mediums. Founded by Cephas Williams in 2009, Drummer Boy has just opened up its first store in the heart of Peckham ,South-East London.

Emerging from London culture and inner city London fashion, The Drummer Boy brand can be seen as urban accessible wear, whether you’re heading on holiday, chilling with friends or off to an event, we’ve got you covered.
Our range spans from t-shirts and hats to jackets and tracksuits, theres always something from our range for you to wear together or alongside other name brand clothing. Our quality and style are their to ensure that even next to the biggest names in the industry our products do not feel out of place. We are also invested in connecting with the people who identify with our brand, while successfully building a brand that represents the voice of the people.
Starting off in London has helped us grow over the years, the idea being to draw influence from our base and the people we are directly connected to in the UK; exploring their voice and discovering similarities, while sharing that with the world and representing this idea globally.
The name Drummer Boy came from the founder who use to be called Drummer Boy when he would play the the drums in a band as a teenager. The brand started off as his way of expressing his message to the world at a time when he went mute due to mental heath issues he faced. The brand featured thought provoking messages on the apparel from his thoughts that resonated with others, as a result, when our customers wore the clothing, it became their message to the world.
Influenced by the idea of music being a global language, we liken the brand to the power and freedom that is found in the idea of a drum, hence the strap line, "Dance To The Beat Of Your Own Drum", we seek to encourage you to think without negative limitation, dream without fear and discover more of yourself through identifying with the power of your voice.
Mission Statment
